Master Video and Acceptable Formats
AMVC is unique in that we do not sell pre-duped inventory. We do not accept stock inventory from our producers. With more than 1400 products in our catalog maintaining a stock inventory of every film would require a huge warehouse. So, how do we sell anything? We use a master copy of your film to duplicate all DVDs in-house to fill the orders we receive each day.
- We do not edit your film...you'll need to do the editing yourself or send it to a professional editor.
- We only accept a high quality masters of your "ready to sell" product.
- If you are sending us a master on VHS, SVHS, or miniDV tape then it MUST be recorded in SP (Standard Play) mode. We cannot accept master tapes recorded in LP (long play) or EP (extended play) mode.
- If you're sending your master film on DVD then it has to be in DVD format. We cannot accept stand-alone AVI, WMV, or MOV files.
- Film length cannot be less than 45 minutes. Previews, slide shows, and bonus footage DO NOT count toward this 45 minute minimum limit.
- We can accept masters in the following media formats:
NTSC VHS (SP mode only)
NTSC SVHS (SP mode only)
NTSC miniDV (SP mode only)
